Who we are
BNBChat provides a shared WhatsApp inbox for serviced accommodation teams. This website (bnbchat.com) is our marketing site. The product application is at app.bnbchat.com and has its own privacy policy.
What data we collect
Form submissions: When you fill out a form on our site (e.g. Book a Demo, Scorecard, VA Checklist), we collect the information you provide: name, email address, company name, number of properties, and team size. We also record which page you submitted from and any marketing consent you give.
Analytics: With your consent, we use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how visitors use our site. This includes page views, button clicks, and form interactions. PostHog does not track you across other websites.
Cookies: We use essential cookies for site functionality and, with your consent, analytics cookies via PostHog and advertising cookies for Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) Pixel.
UTM and referral data: When you arrive from an ad or external link, we capture the source parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) to understand which channels bring visitors to our site.

- To send you marketing emails if you opted in (via Listmonk, hosted on Hetzner in the EU)
- To manage our relationship with you via our CRM (Twenty CRM)
- To improve our website based on aggregated analytics data

Cookie consent
When you first visit our site, we ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. Analytics and advertising tracking only activates after you consent. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to ensure advertising tags respect your choice.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:

Data retention
We retain your form submission data for as long as you remain a lead or customer. If you request deletion, we remove your data within 30 days. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised after 12 months.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent changes were made.
